This punch needle has a wooden handle and metal tip. Needle is light weight and small. Great for punching finer smaller details such as punching words or outlines. Needle compares to the Oxford Mini 14 Fine needle in terms of size, what yarns it takes, and what fabrics it works with.
This needle will work with monks cloth and cotton cloth. Needle will NOT work with primary rug backing or weavers cloth.
This needle will work with smaller weight yarns such as a gauge 2, 3, and some worsted 4 weight yarns. Needle will NOT work with bulky weight yarns.
Needle is not adjustable but if you prefer a larger loop height you can remove the black band on the end.
